Code Red is used by Grand County Sheriff’s Office to contact you in emergency situations or for critical community alerts. Examples include: evacuation notices, bio-terrorism alerts, boil water notices, and missing child reports.
Please take a moment to fill in the appropriate information on the CodeRed site to be included in the Emergency Communications Network database. Remember, CodeRed is used to send text or phone alerts to MOBILE phones. The Grand County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center will issue emergency notifications to land lines only.
In the event of an emergency, if you receive a call from CodeRed, listen to the message and follow the instructions. You can have the message repeated back to you. If you miss the call, you can redial the number that you see on your caller ID and the message will be repeated back to you.
