GCWC has recieved a multi-year Community Wildfire Defense Grant (CWDG) award from the U.S. Forest Service. This funding will be used for fuels reduction & wildfire mitigation projects on private property west of Granby, including areas off County Roads 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, & 57. This project aims to reduce hazardous fuels across 800 acres of high-extreme wildfire risk areas, as identified in our Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP).

If you own property in the project area, please fill out the interest form, linked below, so we can begin planning efforts. GCWC aims to begin work with private property owners in the Homestead Hills subdivision (GCR 54) in the summer & fall of 2026.
